I think John Quiggen's opinion on Bolt is spot on"

"Fortunately, in the case of global warming, anyone with access to the Internet can easily check the facts, so the only people deluded by Bolt on this topic are those complicit in their own delusion, believing an implausible story because it suits their ideological or cultural/tribal prejudices."

As for Tim Blair, I always get the Aussie Tim's confused. Tim Lambert is the sane one, but you had me going for a second.

As for your Obama omment. You really are an idiot since you forgot about steven Chu.

So, after criticizing others for citing Al Gore instead of scientists, you turn around and cite . . . a newspaper editor with no scientific background. And a history of demonstrable ignorance.

You're just digging deeper at this point, Dennis. Now might be a good time to change the subject.

Let's change the subject to Kevin Rudd. I notice no-one's commenting on him here.

Wonder why he did that? What with all the consensus and all.

Elliott-

Actually, Josh Marshall was the one who forgot about Dr. Chu, not me. I picked that one up from a post at TPM. You can draw your own conclusion as to why Josh would decide it was worth mentioning. I found it interesting that he did.

What, you weren't getting enough vitriol from Amanda fans and felt you had to branch out ? Well, good luck with that. Just remember that pseudo-scientific zealots are harder to deal with than adherents of a complete whack job. I advise regular visits to McKintyre and Watt's websites for new, hard fact rocks to throw.

I gave up after reading Andrew Bolt cite a bunch of reservoir levels (the glass is half full!) because a wise man once said "financial professionals look at trends. Over time. Not snapshots.". All Bolt has is snapshots.

Here's another clue for you all, the walrus was...wait a minute, I'm getting sidetracked. I read somewhere that sunspot activity is predicted to drop next decade. For those who don't factor it in this may give the impression that global warming is leveling off or receding a bit on it's own. It's not. It may also give the impression that our efforts to ameliorate it's affects are working more quickly than we'd hoped. That would also be a wrong conclusion.

Wow, Dennis, I didn't know you were into debunking fundamentalist religious cults.
