From deep thinker, born-again believer and Iranian hit squad dodger Roger L. Simon:
What scares me most about Barack Obama is the narcissism/megalomania. It’s a consistent theme throughout his life with which I (first introduction of the “I” word) could bore you to death.
That's right, Roger L. Simon bitching about someone else's narcissism/megalomania. Pot? Meet Kettle.
Question: If something really scares you, how can it bore you at the same time?
It's bad enough that Da Raj can't do enough fact checking to get the name of a murdered journalist correct in his big tome on finding God. Now, however, he's to the point where he can't write two sentences without contradicting himself.
Oy.
Da Raj's problem is he considers himself a superior person morally and intellectually while deep down he knows he's not. He has a degree from Yale and he'd have you believe he had a successful career going as a novelist and screenwriter. After 9/11 he chose what he says is a moral path and now uses that "brave" choice to excuse the fact that what little success he had on the bookshelves and in Hollywood has now evaporated. He wasn't blacklisted by Hollywood or even himself. The market just doesn't have any use for a windy, self important, transparent hack no matter his politics.
If he actually had any guts or smarts he'd flesh out his post and tell us what makes the president, any president, who happens to be the single most powerful person in the world, a narcissist/megalomaniac and therefore scary. My guess is after half an hour of trying to pin this meme on Obama who joked "I've never had a helicopter before, the one I have seems perfectly good to me" he got bored and gave up realizing that anything he could cite applies to most presidents. So he just threw the line out there to start a "Obama scares me because..." thread in hopes somebody might give him something useful to use in the future.

"...[H]e considers himself a superior person morally and intellectually while deep down he knows he's not. He has a degree from Yale..."
Sounds like a lot of political junkies, left and right, whom I know.
The bullshit degree from a once-rigorous school probably only adds to his delusion.

How do you ever manage to go on knowing you could have been in business with an Iranian hit squad dodger?

With great difficulty.
