The New York Times notes that there appears to be signs of fatigue amongst the Obamaniacs.
What else could account for the sluggish response of Democrats to the thuggish response of Republicans? A lack of protein? Could it be an unintended consequence of the Whole Foods Market boycott?
Has the revolution been derailed for lack of organic Tofu Surprise?
Perhaps. Then again, it could be that a certain percentage of the Obamaniacs actually believed in aspects of health care reform that George W. Obama has already jettisoned. Such as:
-
Single payer. Remember that? It was what Obama was for... Before he was against it.
-
Reformed drug pricing.
-
No "coalitions" with health care industry special interests.
Just to name a few.
It might be fatigue. Then again, it might just be something else...
Maybe they should hire Islamic Rage Boy™ to help those peaceful SEIU protestors catch their second wind.
Note: The photo was shamelessly stolen from SondraK. When I first saw it yesterday, it made me laugh so hard my surgically repaired foot hurt. Bad. I ended up having to take one of my Rush's Little Helpers.
That AARP commercial I saw last night, ya know the AARP who says they don't support reform, was a pretty effective slam against those who are stalling reform.

And don't think for a minute AARP isn't going to catch shit from its own membership for running it. AARP's leadership is seriously out of step with a large portion of its membership.

They already are, Dennis.

Dennis aren't you kind of stepping on your own message about reform fatigue by putting up a photoshopped pic of what appears to be reform supporters looking anything but fatigued?

Do you know who Islamic Rage Boy is?
Do you know what he looks like?
Hint: He has a beard.

Apparently, they have been holding Islamic Rage Boy look alike contests and forgot to tell us about them.

Remember what Dick Cheney used to say: "Islamic Rage Boy is everywhere."

According to wikipedia the real Islamic Rage Boy, a native of Kashmir, says he became a "terrorist" after Indian soldiers threw his sister out of a second story window breaking her back. She died a year later. Says he was a lousy terrorist, didn't kill anyone. He was arrested and held for three years and has been detained over 300 times since. He attends lots of protests and thinks people photoshopping his face on a pig's body are rude and just proving how poopy their civilization is.
No word on what his position is on health care reform in America. My guess he'd hew to the Republican line, "shitty health care for the infidels!"
