Howard Dean reminds us why nobody gives a shit about what he thinks:
Former Democratic National Committee chair Howard Dean fired one of the clearest warning shots at hesitant Democratic lawmakers on Thursday, insisting that if the party was unable to produce a health care bill with a public plan, there would be electoral consequences.
"I do think there will be primaries as the result of all this, if the bill doesn't pass with a public option," Dean said, in a phone interview with the Huffington Post.
That's just the sort of public commentary Congressional Democrats need right now. They're getting eaten alive in their town halls, have Obama-inspired zanies pestering them at their offices, and now they have Howard Dean laying down threats.
Howard, there's a reason you're presently unemployed. Remember that.
In other "Gee, just how stupid is Howard Dean?" news, here's Dean showing us he possesses the ethics of, well, a Republican and the backbone of a chocolate eclaire:
As for the reported deal between the White House and Big Pharma, in which the government would refrain from using its purchasing power to lower drug price in exchange for $80 billion to expand coverage and help with reform, Dean called the topic a "side show."
Well, you're the expert on side shows, aren't ya, Howie?
I think that primary comment is pointed more at Ben Nelson who because of those ineffective ads you were mocking last week is now running ads of his own saying how much he loves health care reform Dennis.

Reports are the House Finance Committee pulled the death counseling out of Section 1233 today.
Dean's worried about consequences. HE HAS NO IDEA.

Then don't ever fill out a living will Richard. Then doctors might keep your flat lined corpse breathing in fear of a frivolous lawsuit for long enough to completely bankrupt your loved ones. It would be poetic justice if by some wild stretch of the imagination Sarah Palin's stupid meme you adhere to manages to kill reform.
