Well, well, well, it seems everyone's favorite Suburban Marxist is back doing whatever it is that he does. Evidently it took him this long to pull his tail out from between his legs:
Van Jones, the environmental justice advocate who relinquished his post as a White House adviser five months ago after coming under fire from conservative activists, is reemerging on the public policy stage to push for green jobs.
.....
Jones, who has been consulting for companies and nonprofits on environmental issues, will start teaching at Princeton University in June and is rejoining the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank, next month. On Friday, he will receive the NAACP's President's Award, for achievement in public service, the organization announced Tuesday.
Nothing like fighting the good revolutionary fight from behind a desk, eh? With a salary, benefits and a nice retirement plan, no less. Both Barack Obama and the late Howard Zinn would, in Van Jones, recognize a kindred spirit: He "fights" for his beliefs in the same sort of blustery, cautious, thoroughly establishment manner we're accustomed to seeing out of Obama. And like Zinn, Van Jones isn't shy about making a damn good living off of fruits of capitalist exploitation of the toiling masses.
What Glenn Beck got wrong, of course, is that the Van Jones' of the world represent a real threat to the existing order of things. Truth is, Van Jones is very much a part of the existing order of things, and would not have it any other way. Van Jones will still be running his mouth about green jobs and environmental justice 20 years from now. It's what he does: It's a career. Action is for other, more serious types.
And the fact that the Center for American Progress and Princeton would latch onto the Left's latest fashionable loser probably tells you all you need to know about them. And the NAACP? Further evidence that they've reached NOW-like levels of irrelevance.
Princeton? Seriously? If I were paying tuition there I'd be righteously pissed right now.

I'm not sure Jones has enough illegtimate children to qualify for NAACP certification. What would Kwazi Mfune say?

I enjoy watching the bourgeois radical set go through their paces. It's akin to seeing someone in a Che or Mao t-shirt protesting gun ownership. We clearly need a sterner set of leftists.

Well, if John Podesta hired him, that's good enough for me.

Is there a separate chargeable offense for 'factual racist'yer honor?

The distinction is meaningless in the eyes of the court of leftist opinion.

Long march through the institutions, baybee!
Time for a countermarch.
